            <title>Bohac Files for Tax Relief for Texas Businesses and Homeowners</title>
            <description> <![CDATA[ Dwayne Bohac, representative of the state of Texas, filed a tax relief package which aims on reducing taxes on businesses and homeowners residing in Texas. The package contains HB 1943 which restricts homestead appraisal amount, HB 1946 which restricts homestead reappraisal frequency and HB 1944 and HB 1945 which aims in setting franchise tax exemptions as $5 million and $2.5 million respectively.

According to Bohac, Texas has experienced an increase in the number of new people settling down in the state and continues to draw in more new people, jobs and businesses. The tax relief package was filed to assist in meeting larger demands of growing population and economy, and make sure that the infrastructure of the state continues to grow.
