A $1 billion project will take shape on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard in Rowlett! The project was inspired by the Cabo San Lucas which will be located on a peninsula in the middle of the lake off interstate I30. The project is still in the very beginning stages, but the engineering part is expected to be completed by the end of next year and construction to follow that. The developer is currently in Mexico now to see one of the lagoons! The developer says once the Bayside project is completed it will offer the city of Rowlett and surrounding cities hundreds of new homes, apartments and commercial real estate.
